Anger is an essential human emotion developed to help protect us when we feel threatened.

When it lingers longer than needed it often is an effort to control or the frustration of not being able to control and creates an angry person. The more we try to control the uncontrollable the more we are likely to become that angry person.

When you feel the anger creeping in try not to let it take control. Look at what caused it, a controllable threat or an attempt to control the uncontrollable. The former passes when the threat is gone. The latter tends to linger because it is unattainable but if you can accept that and let it go hopefully the angry person won’t show up.

I want you to see how powerful you are.
